His speech is eagerly awaited. Emmanuel Macron will give an interview to France 2 and TF1, Monday July 24, in the 1 p.m. news of the two channels, from New Caledonia. The Head of State will answer questions from journalists Nathanaël de Rincquesen, for France 2, and Jacques Legros, for TF1, in duplex from Noumea, where he will be traveling. Emmanuel Macron did not speak on July 14, contrary to tradition.

This interview comes after the reshuffle of part of the government, which took place on Thursday, and after the Head of State drew up, on Friday, in the preamble to the Council of Ministers, an initial assessment of the “100 days” decreed after the highly disputed pension crisis. During a rare moment broadcast live, Emmanuel Macron, for 25 minutes, took stock of the year since his re-election and outlined the priorities for the start of the school year. It also reaffirmed “with clarity” her “trust” to his Prime Minister. “This is why I have chosen continuity and efficiency for the times to come”he underlined, thus justifying in dotted lines a relatively limited reshuffle, with eight new ministers.
