Emmanuel Macron wants “we put ourselves in a position to consume less” energy

Energy has therefore become a weapon of war according to the head of state. He wants to save it. “I am going to ask now (…) that we put ourselves in a position to consume less“, said Emmanuel Macron.

A sobriety plan will be presented at the start of the school year. The State will maintain its aid for fuels, but with more targeted mechanisms. The other message of the day from the president is the continuation of reforms, and in particular that of pensions. Immanuel Macron hopes that it will be done in the negotiation.
