Jean-Luc Mélenchon believes that “ecological planning is not business planning”. “It is a change in the modes of production and exchange”, he adds. Faced with global warming, the leader of La France insoumise “advocates radical reform”. He explains that we cannot do without nuclear power “at the press of a button”.

“We need 10-15 years to implement a new mode of energy production,” explains Jean-Luc Mélenchon. He mentions in particular as “the spontaneous movements of the sea” as “most important source of energy”. The leader of LFI also considers that a “ecology which is not anti-capitalist is not ecology” but rather “gardening”.
