Emmanuel Macron has a message for his constituents. In a handwritten letter posted Sunday, May 7 on Twitter, the president thanked “all our compatriots who, six years ago, trusted me for the first time”, to the occasion of the first anniversary of his second mandate and the six years of his first election as head of state.

“Since the first moment of these six years, I have been trying, with the responsibility that is mine and in the function that you have entrusted to me, to work in the service of all French people, of our children and of the general interest. “said Emmanuel Macron. “Count on all my commitment and determination”he added.

The president, who crystallizes all the anger over the pension reform, has multiplied since its adoption the outings in contact with the French, playing proximity and listening to try to relaunch his five-year term and regain control in the face of dispute. The Head of State will be in Lyon on Monday, to preside over a ceremony in tribute to the French Resistance and to Jean Moulin, as the 80th anniversary of his arrest by the Gestapo approaches.
