Monday March 7, on the occasion of his first campaign trip to Poissy (Yvelines), Emmanuel Macron unveiled one of the proposals of his program. Journalist Guillaume Daret reports that the outgoing president wants “remove the TV license fee, if re-elected”. He pursues : “For him, it is a measure of purchasing power, which follows the abolition of the housing tax.“In addition, education will also have an important place in his project. “He hopes that, from the start of the 2022 school year, all children aged 6 to 12 will do 30 minutes of sport at school.”, explains Guillaume Daret.
The President of the Republic was surrounded by 300 people brought together by one of his supporters, Karl Olive, mayor of Poissy. For them, it is sometimes difficult to know if they were addressing the president, or the candidate. “We are in a rather special context. As I said, I will preside over our country until the end (…), but I will be a candidate whenever I can”assured Emmanuel Macron.
