Emanuel Macron, “He is a feverish candidate who today tells us that he will do the opposite of what he has done for these five years”, denounced Friday April 15 on franceinfo Sébastien Chenu, deputy National Rally of the North and spokesperson for Marine Le Pen. Guest of presidential mornings on franceinfo, the president-candidate has multiplied the promises in particular on the disabled adult allowance, the point of index of the civil servants. On Monday he had already claimed to be “ready to move on the pension reform”.

These proposals do not convince Sébastien Chenu for whom “Emmanuel Macron’s record is not entirely glorious. It is no longer due at the same time it is a permanent zigzag and faced with this we must be consistent and tell the French that another policy is possible “. According to the RN spokesperson, “we can do otherwise, that’s the goal of Marine Le Pen’s candidacy, that is to say, to lift out of poverty the 400,000 people who entered this poverty under Emmanuel Macron”.

Sébastien Chenu insisted on what he considers to be a strong point of the program of the far-right candidate: the purchasing power which, according to him, will “increase with the reduction in VAT to 5.5% or on a basket of basic necessities at 0% VAT. These are proposals [de Marine Le Pen] which change daily life and which are the opposite of what was experienced under Emmanuel Macron for five years”.

The outgoing president accuses Marine Le Pen of being draconian, which Sébastien Chenu refutes, who considers “that Emmanuel Macron has damaged freedoms in the country” and has “brutalised our society”. “These freedoms have been damaged for five years and we want to oxygenate them, defended Sébastien Chenu, this is why Marine Le Pen defends proportional representation, the citizens’ initiative referendum because she thinks that the French must regain a bond of trust with those who govern them”.
