Two months before the first round of the presidential election, Emmanuel Macron has still not officially declared himself a candidate for re-election. And that makes him laugh, he even jokes about it in front of the journalists. Nomination ? “Will have to think about it at some point”he says… Despite this displayed lightness, several challenges await the “candidate president” Macron, once declared.
And the first is to succeed in this official entry into the campaign. On the form, how to announce this candidacy both so expected and devoid of surprise? And basically, what campaign to lead? A campaign of continuity or transgression? 2022 cannot look like 2017, and yet Emmanuel Macron wants to continue to embody novelty, going beyond.
Emmanuel Macron will not escape the attack on his balance sheet any more than another outgoing one.
