Guéret is preparing to receive the President of the Republic! Emmanuel Macron is expected this Friday, September 16 in the prefecture city. He will be accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Rima Abdul-Malak and the famous animator Stéphane Bern. It will be the first visit of the Head of State in Gueret since his accession to the Élysée and his second trip to Creuse. Emmanuel Macron already came to our department last January. The date of this visit was not chosen at random, on the eve of the European Heritage Days, Emmanuel Macron comes to highlight the small rural heritage.
The program
Emmanuel Macron should arrive in Guéret at the very beginning of the afternoon. Accompanied by the children of the municipal councilhe will visit with Rima Abdul-Malak and Stéphane Bern, the small Italian theater of Guéret. The building classified as a Historic Monument is one of the monuments selected by the Heritage Mission. The city will receive a check, the amount of which has not yet been revealed, but who could reach 500,000 euros. Another highlight of the Head of State’s visit to Guéret, the President of the Republic has planned to go to the Espace Fayolle where the Chaminadour meetings are held.
