The journalist says that “Marc Bloch” And “the children of Izieu‘” were also imprisoned on this site.”[C’est] an emblematic place since in 1983, after his arrest, Klaus Barbie, head of the local Gestapo during the Second World War, was symbolically imprisoned here for a week“, specifies Guillaume Daret. Emmanuel Macron is expected at 2:30 p.m. in Lyon. The Head of State should praise the “spirit of resistance, specific to the French people“.
