Emmanuel Macron goes to kyiv to recall the unambiguous support of France

Something to counterbalance his statement ‘We must not humiliate Russia’. Remarks which had been interpreted here as pressure on the Ukrainians to make territorial concessions in the midst of the war”says the journalist.

“Emmanuel Macron also promised new military aid, six Caesar Cannons. This signal was interpreted very positively in Kyiv”adds Agnès Vahramian. “Finally, France fully supports Ukraine’s application to join the European Union. These are three important points to sweep away doubts about French sincerity”concludes the journalist.
