Motions of censure do not pass for Emmanuel Macron. Guest of the political program “L’Evénement”, Wednesday October 26 on France 2, the Head of State denounced “cynicism” and “the disorder” oppositions, accusing the Nupes of having put “hand in hand with the National Rally” by means of a motion of censure against the government of Elisabeth Borne, after the use of 49.3 on the 2023 budget.
The RN had created the surprise on Monday by voting for the motion of censure tabled by the coalition of left-wing parties, which was finally rejected, lacking an absolute majority (239 votes instead of the 289 necessary). After finding themselves on this text, the oppositions “do not have a majority”believes the President of the Republic, “but above all they proved that they were ready, socialists, communists, ecologists, LFI, to go hand in hand with the National Rally when there is war in Europe, the crisis, the disarray of so many families and that you have to be on the side of the French”.
