A week before the first round of the presidential election, Emmanuel Macron held his only meeting on Saturday April 2 in Nanterre. The president-candidate defended his record, presented his measures and invited voters to mobilize.

Emmanuel Macron descended into the arena on Saturday April 2 at the Defense Arena in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), just eight days before the first round of the presidential election. In front of 30,000 supporters, the candidate wanted to consolidate his position as favorite. The President of the Republic defended his record, tried to convince the undecided left with purchasing power, school or health, then attacked the far right. “Good luck to those who, facing Russia, advocate the great withdrawal”he launched.

He put his project back to back against candidates from the far right. For Emmanuel Macron, “it is the fight of patriotism and Europe against the nationalists“While the gap is narrowing against Marine Le Pen in the polls, activists hope that the Head of State has scored points thanks to this meeting. The whole government was present for this big meeting.
