A new Ipsos Sopra-Steria poll, 28 days before the first round of the presidential election on Saturday March 12, places Emmanuel Macron at the top of voting intentions, ahead of Marine Le Pen and Éric Zemmour.

The presidential election is fast approaching. The first round will take place in 28 days, on April 10. According to a very recent Ipsos Sopra-Steria poll, published on Saturday March 12, Emmanuel Macron (30.5%) is still well ahead of the voting intentions, with almost twice the score of his pursuer, Marine Le Pen (16 %). Then come Éric Zemmour (13.5%), Jean-Luc Mélenchon (12%), Valérie Pécresse (11%) and Yannick Jadot (6%).

“Emmanuel Macron is benefiting from the Ukrainian crisis, it’s called the flag effect. Marine Le Pen is in favorable ballot for the second round, she is solid, even if it is said that she is not really making a good campaign”, analyzes Daïc Audouit, on the set of 23h. He notes two lessons: “the good dynamic of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, noted by all opinion institutes, and a downward trend for Valérie Pécresse for a month.”
