The veil is partially lifted. Emmanuel Macron claims that France is supplying Ukraine with Milan anti-tank missiles as well as Caesar guns “through several types of armaments” to help the country cope with the Russian invasion, in an interview with West France Released Friday, April 22.

So far, Paris had not specified the types of armaments that were delivered to kyiv. She just conceded in mid-April “100 million euros in equipment donations already carried out” and announced the supply of “complementary military capabilities”. “I think we have to continue on this path. With always a red line which is not to enter into co-belligerence”added the president.
Asked by AFP, the Elysée did not specify the number of Milan missiles and Caesar guns delivered, so as not to “not give operational information” which could be used by the Russian army. Alexis Corbière, spokesperson for Jean-Luc Mélenchon, had already mentioned deliveries of anti-tank missiles in March, before backpedaling.
