Emmanuel Macron assumes his 2021 declarations about France’s “responsibilities”

“France takes responsibility for everything and exactly that in the terms I used” on May 27, 2021, declared Sunday April 7 Emmanuel Macron in a video broadcast for the commemoration of the 30 years of the genocide in Rwanda. France wants to “move forward” with Rwanda

Emmanuel Macron believes that France “could have stopped the genocide” from 1994 in Rwanda “with its Western and African allies”but “did not have the will”, the Elysée reported on Thursday. Words then interpreted as a further step in the recognition of France’s responsibilities in the genocide, but which the Head of State did not use on Sunday.
