An electric car “at 100 euros per month”. Emmanuel Macron announced, Thursday, December 14, the launch of the leasing system promised for several months for the most modest. This commitment made during the presidential campaign will be implemented on January 1 but will start slowly, with around 20,000 deliveries in 2024, before ramping up. To benefit from it, candidates will have to connect to the My electric lesaing platform, said the Head of State in a video posted on X.

At the same time, the government revealed the list of vehicles which will be eligible, from Friday, for the new “electric bonus” remodeled which, on the basis of environmental criteria, will de facto favor almost exclusively electric models produced in France or Europe, just like those targeted by leasing at 100 euros per month.
