The Ukrainian president signed a security agreement with Emmanuel Macron during his trip to France on Friday February 16. He must offer more resources to Ukraine against the Russian army, in a delicate period for the country on the front.

Arriving in France on Friday February 16 to meet with Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a bilateral security agreement with France. “France will continue to support Ukraine over the long terme”, assured the French president when announcing this ten-year agreement. The objective is to strengthen Ukraine’s resources against the Russian army.

Ukraine lacks resources

Additional military aid of up to 3 billion euros was also announced. Volodymyr Zelensky, for his part, called for unity against the Russian president :Putin has become a bloodthirsty dictator, and unfortunately his path is not over yet.
