Emmanuel Macron was re-elected a year ago to the day for a second term. A year later, he is plunged into a crisis of confidence, following the pension reform. The president, who speaks Monday April 24 in Le Parisien Today in France, admits that the error may have been not to be present enough.

Emmanuel Macron continues his media offensive. In the morning of 24 april in a long face to face with readers of the Parisian newspaper, the Head of State come back on pension reform. After months of tension, Emmanuel Macron, withdrawn on the file, recognizes: Maybe the mistake was not being present enough to give consistency and bring this reform myself“. And while he has given himself 100 days to relaunch his mandate, he adds: I have to re-engage in the public debate, because there are things that are not clear.
