First European title for the Lebesson-Yuan duo! The French dominated the Romanian pair made up of Ovidiu Ionescu and Bernadette Szocs, Monday August 15, in the final of the European Championships in Munich (Germany). They thus won a first European title in mixed doubles, after their bronze medal won in 2021.
Emmanuel Lebesson, European champion in singles in 2016, and Jianan Yuan lost the first set against the Romanians (8-11), before largely breaking away in the next two sets (11-6, 11-5). The fourth set, tighter, also turned in favor of the Habs (11-9), who launched their Bavarian meeting perfectly.
