From one channel to another. Emmanuel Kessler, former boss of Public Senate and director of the economic editorial offices of the Prisma Média group, was appointed president and CEO of the LCP channel by the office of the National Assembly, on the proposal of its president Yaël Braun-Pivet, announced the Palais Bourbon in a press release Wednesday May 15. He will take office on June 10 for a three-year term.
“I am aware of the honor done to me and the responsibility that falls on me to further strengthen LCP at the service of our democracy and openness to citizens”reacted Emmanuel Kessler on the social network. The new CEO of La Chaîne Parlementaire succeeds Bertrand Delais, in office since 2018.
He was preferred to Brigitte Boucher, journalist and main face of LCP for years. “I would like to thank the selection committee which placed me well ahead with a 10 pt lead following a rigorous and transparent selection process”reacted the latter on. “His recommendation was not followed. I take note of this.”
