“Emma”, Jean Reno | Le Devoir

The name Jean Reno associated with espionage and action, all topped with the title Emma : we pick up the actor’s first novel hoping to meet a girlfriend of Nikita. We find ourselves instead in a Harlequin novel where a masseuse with a “spectacular physique” meets the equivalent of a prince of One Thousand and One Nights. Love at first sight! With her professional services required, the beauty follows the beast to the Sultanate of Oman, even if the best the man can offer her is the status of mistress (under the veil, but in luxury, oh là là!). A strong woman (because that’s what it says), she is soon recruited by the French secret services for a mission… barely touched here – unlike the skins that quiver, ignite and talk between the sheets, but also during endless massage classes given by our heroine with magic hands. We could almost be in romance. If this is what we are looking for, Emma ” does the job “, the other would say. You just have to know it. Especially since it smells like something is coming next.
