At 71, Phil Collins bows out. Last weekend, the group Genesis provided a final show in London to the delight of its fans. Fans no doubt worried about the health of the very weakened lead singer, who performed the majority of the titles, sitting on a stool on the stage. An image that obviously moved those who have always followed the career of Phil Collins, but also his daughter, Lily Collins, star of the series Emily in Parispresent at the concert.
A rare fact when you know that the two did not always have a good relationship during the childhood of the actress. She did not hesitate to mention this difficult period, in particular by making it known that her father “never called anyone in the industry who might get me a role”. Lily Collins, with these words, made it clear that it was thanks to her talent, and only him, that she managed to land her roles and in particular the one that allowed her to be propelled to the top of the bill thanks to Netflix.

Through her autobiography published in 2017, she made him a magnificent declaration of love, assuring that she had “forgiven” him the complicated years of his childhood. “I forgive you for not being there when I needed you and for not being the father I hoped for. I forgive the mistakes you made”she wrote.
Enough to make it clear that this is indeed part of the past and Lily Collins proved it last weekend by attending her father’s final show. The actress published a series of photos on her Instagram account at the end of the concert and did not fail to make yet another declaration of love to Phil Collins. “Tonight marks the end of an era. Witnessing this last concert is undoubtedly the most beautiful memory of my life from now on, one of those that I will keep anchored in my heart forever”confided she no doubt moved by writing her message.
