Émile Bilodeau, Zachary Richard, Paul Piché, Salomé Leclerc, Bon Enfant, Lou-Adriane Cassidy and Gros Mené are among the artists who will be featured at the 39and edition of the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée.
Early this morning, the Festival unveiled the program for its event, which will take place from June 30 to July 9.
We also find the names of Salebarbes, Laura Niquay, Étienne Coppé, Élage Diouf, Juste Robert, Paul Daraîche and his guests, Simon Kearney, the groups Magneto, Dans l’shed and Le Vent du nord, Michel Faubert, Alexandre Belliard and Scott-Pien Picard on the poster.
We will also present the show Pour une histoire d’un soir with Marie Carmen, Marie-Denise Pelletier and Joe Bocan and the play I’m looking for a house that looks like you, a tribute to Pauline Julien and Gérald Godin.
For ten days, around sixty artists will perform from one village to another in series under a marquee, in a church, a boathouse, on the banks of the river or in the middle of a campsite.
Concerts which will begin at 10 a.m. with the series “De bonneheure s’ul piton” and which will continue in the afternoon, at the aperitif, in formula 5 to 7, in the evening and at the end of the evening with the series “On is not in bed.”
“Around Émile Bilodeau and Paul Piché, our socially committed artists, we will find artists from Louisiana and Reunion, we will offer a theatrical incursion, another on the side of classical, ancient and traditional music, all combined to popular and emerging artists from folk, rap and rock who proudly express the Festival’s panorama and openness to make room for songs, whatever they may be,” said Alan Côté, general and artistic director of the event in a press release.
