Singer Elton John received great honor today by being named a Member of the Order of Companions of Honor at Windsor Castle, England.
It is one of the highest honors that Queen Elizabeth II can bestow on British or Commonwealth citizens.
Current members of the Order include British environmentalist David Attenborough and Canadian writer Margaret Atwood.
