It has been twenty-three years since Thomas Bangalter won the heart of Elodie Bouchez. From their couple, two children were born, Tara-Jay (born in 2002) and Roxan (born in 2008). In The Inrocks in 2013, the artist confided in his family life, between France and California. “Our personal and family life is [Paris]. We spend a lot of time between Paris and California, where a large part of our production and manufacturing takes place”, had told the musician.
Children of stars, the little Bouchez-Banglater lead a normal life. It was Elodie Bouchez who explained it in the pages of Gala in 2016: “Since we ourselves are not overstretched, our boys benefit. They also go to a local public school. We could of course enroll them in establishments where there are only children like them, we have nothing against it, but for the moment, we do not see the need for it. Their couple, she describes it as “elated and confident“, words she had used in Paris Match. “We do as we can. We manage to follow each other and create things in several places, while remaining as a family. It’s sometimes acrobatic but we make sure that everyone flourishes in their job“, she added.
During Paris Fashion Week, the lovers had been seen during the Saint Laurent show, but they had scrupulously posed separately in front of the objectives of the photographers. However, they had agreed to be side by side at the “Women In Motion” evening by Kering as part of the 75th Cannes International Film Festival on May 22.
