Elizabeth II “ill at ease”: this sacrifice which costs her a lot

Queen Elizabeth II is slowly resuming work, by videoconference. At 95, the sovereign, who will celebrate her 70th reign next summer, is making many sacrifices. It must be said that her health is observed very closely and to avoid the worst, the royal doctors have decided that the monarch should take care of herself. Since September, the grandmother of Prince William and Prince Harry no longer has the right to ride, she who is passionate about riding and never misses an equestrian event.

According to information from the British newspaper The Sun, Elizabeth II has not been riding since returning from vacation in Balmoral this summer. A heartbreak for the queen. “She was a little uncomfortable. She loves to ride horses, it has always been a habit for a good part of her life. She was extremely disappointed not to be able to ride since the beginning of September”, said a source working in Her Majesty’s second home.

This is not the only sacrifice Elizabeth II had to make. Indeed, her doctors claimed that she should also refrain from drinking alcohol.
