Limoges CSP lost again Tuesday evening on the floor of JL Bourg. A meeting of the 20th day of the French basketball championship lost 79 to 66.
The meeting: Limoges stood up for ten minutes
Despite a good 1st quarter during which Limoges CSP took a lead of up to 11 points, Massimo Cancellieri’s players lost their match of the 20th day of the French basketball championship on Saturday evening in Bourg-en-Bresse. The revolt of the JL Bourg began after a double anti sporting making pass a strong feeling of injustice side bressan. The day without: Nicolas Lang lacked address
If the captain ended the match with 14 points, it’s a sham. Accustomed to succeeding most of his long-distance shots even on one leg and one eye closed, Nicolas Lang was not successful on Saturday in Bourg, even though the positions were open (1 out of 7 shooting including 1 out of 5 to 3 points). In the end, he especially scored at the end of the meeting with honor as the last source of motivation.

Massimo Cancellieri, coach of Limoges :”In the 2nd and 3rd quarter, we stopped putting baskets. We didn’t have a good selection of shots. And we opened the field to them for counterattacks. They took easy shots and gained confidence. After that, everything was easy for them and everything was harder for us. In the last quarter, we scored 24 points when the defensive pressure was less. We have to learn how to play under this pressure. We were scared, not all of us but most of us. I can’t play with people who are scared. I’m not afraid of anything and I want them to be like me. Those who are not ready to be like me can stay on the bench. The pre-season is over but some may not have understood it. Now it’s time to talk“.

Nicolas Lang, captain of Limoges CSP:“We started the game very well. We were in what we wanted to do. After in the 2nd quarter, it’s really a shame. This is where it starts to unscrew. Instead of capitalizing on the +10, we let them come back. We are not lucid enough. We do an anti-sports one that wakes up the whole room a little. Instead of going to the locker room with a 10 or 15 point lead, we are at minus 3. It’s a shame. In the 3rd quarter, we are still in the game but everyone is making their mistake. And instead of making one, two or even three mistakes and then a good thing, we chain 6 mistakes in a row. In the phase we are in, we cannot afford it. In our hollow moments, we are horrible. And in our strong moments, we are not realistic enough. You don’t have to lower your head and be much more mentally stable“.
As an aside: CJ Massinburg was preserved
The CJ Massinburg combo was injured Friday in training. If he was on the match sheet on Saturday in Bourg, he did not come into play. The player must undergo examinations to know the seriousness of his injury. It is therefore uncertain for the match of the round of 16 of the Coupe de France on Tuesday in Bourg.
