Élisabeth Borne was traveling to Mayotte on Friday December 8. Residents whistled at the Prime Minister when she arrived.

Elisabeth Borne was first greeted with flowers then by boos in Mayotte. The Prime Minister made an express trip to the 101st French department. She had to answer many questions, starting her trip with a visit to a water desalination plant. She then attended a distribution of bottled water. “We have put in place emergency measures with the distribution of 350,000 liters of water per day,” she said.
