Elisa the alpaca clipper

She created her box at 19

In Villers sur le Roule, thousands of kilometers from Peru and the Andes, there is Élisa. She’s only 19, but she already knows exactly what she wants. It must be said that growing up in the midst of alpacas has helped her to get an idea of the path she wishes to trace precisely. So, a few months ago, she created her small business. Here she is officially the mower of alpacas and llamas. Because like the sheep, these little beasts have the particularity of providing good wool. Élisa knows it, since she was a kid she sees the shearer taking care of his own. It was he, moreover, who ended up training her.

On the roads of the Great West

Today she has therefore crossed over to the other side of the barrier and has made it her profession. And now that she has her license, she can travel the roads of western France, from one customer to another. Because there is work. There are enough specimens in the area that she no longer has time for her, with the return of the mowing season. Note that the alpaca clipper does not just give them a nice cut. She cuts their claws and she files their teeth too. Because, like rabbits, incisors are constantly growing. And if you’re careful, the alpaca’s teeth can end up scratching the floor.
