This eleventh edition of the Pornic Classic festival, with a dominant voice, offers you a colorful program, emphasizing the dialogue between instruments, music, arts, cultures – a fundamental richness of our civilization. The excellent English singers of Apollo Five will make a special trip to Pornic before the festival to work with schoolchildren, for an eclectic program combining classical and variety – sung a capella, without net! The score will continue to unfold with a trio dedicated to romantic serenades: the warm voice of Helen Kearns responds to the flexible clarinet of Raphaël Sévère, for a program devoted to Schubert, Brahms and Strauss. The enchanting violin of Laurent Korcia, accompanied by Elodie Soulard on the accordion and Irma Svanadze on the piano revisits the greatest pages of film music. Finally, for an exceptional closing, the festival welcomes for the first time the excellent Orchester National de Bretagne conducted by Grant Llewellyn, in the Symphony “The Passion” by Haydn and the Double Concertos by Bach and Mozart – two composers who fit perfectly to the elegant style of Claire-Marie Leguay – with whom François Dumont will have the pleasure of dialoguing pianistically!
