Kate Middleton’s bouquet of flowers was not chosen by chance. The flower arrangement was made up of hyacinths, lilies and myrtles, the latter being a royal wedding tradition that symbolizes love. The flower originated from the bush planted by Queen Victoria at Osborne House in 1845. It also ended up in the wedding bouquet of Elizabeth II and Princess Eugenie. Another detail, the bouquet had a flower named “Sweet William”, in honor of her future husband. By the way, speaking of flowers, the total bill for the ceremony was nearly £1.1m.
