From now on, visitors to Parc Safari, in Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, will board electric bush trucks to observe elephants, wildebeest, kudu and other friendly critters.
It will no longer be possible to travel the Adventure Safari circuit in your personal vehicle, but it is for the best, assures the park.
Bush trucks, which began appearing two years ago, are quiet and do not emit greenhouse gases.
A naturalist on board helps enrich the experience with information and anecdotes. The Safari Park opened its doors for the season on May 17.
