Élan Béarnais wins the Coupe de France, 15 years after its last trophy

Élan Béarnais won their fourth Coupe de France, the first since 2007, by beating Strasbourg 95 to 86 this Saturday in the final in a room of Paris-Bercy full to bursting, in a disputed final but rather dominated by the Palois.

Transferred to the American flag in June 2021, Élan Béarnais thus won its first title in the “US version”, driven by the very strong performance of Vitalis Chikoko, his Zimbabwean pivot, elected MVP with 15 points, 8 rebounds4 assists and 5 blocks.
