Nutcracker in its entirety at Place des Arts
The magic of the holidays comes to Place des Arts from December 9 to 30 with the return of the magical ballet Nutcrackera great tradition of Les Grands Ballets, which has presented the version of the late choreographer Fernand Nault since 1964. For the first time in two years, we will be able to see the show in its entirety, while the children will once again be present on stage, as well as the Orchestra of the Grands Ballets.

Addition of visiting hours for Their Mortal Remains
Arsenal contemporary art has added visiting hours for the exhibition Their Mortal Remains, devoted to Pink Floyd. The exhibition passed through London, Rome, Madrid, Dortmund, before arriving in Montreal. “We can see various objects that belonged to the members of the group, posters, David Gilmour’s guitars, Richard Wright’s keyboards, Syd Barrett’s bicycle, recently wrote our journalist Jean-Christophe Laurence. The Little Singers at the Oratory
Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal offer their free Christmas concert on December 11, at 3:30 p.m., in the basilica of Saint Joseph’s Oratory. Entitled singing as a gift, this concert brings together some 150 singers led by conductor and musical director Andrew Gray. For the occasion, the Petits Chanteurs will perform a repertoire that oscillates between contemplation and the festive spirit with titles like The Angels in our countryside, Adeste Fideles and He was born the divine child. It’s teeming at the SAT
Several activities are planned this weekend at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT). First, an immersive conference exploring the links between creation and mental health led by Florence K and Émile Roy (December 10 and 11); then the projection, in the dome, of immersive short films, Arashi, In the Land of the Flabby Schnook and Solarians, intended for children aged 3 and over. The photographer Michel Huneault exhibits, until December 23 at the Pierre-François Ouellette gallery, Vertigo: 10 new Tohoku wallsthe last component of his video trilogy started and presented in this gallery in 2015.
