The police solved a series of burglaries last week, by arresting two burglars who had just set off an intrusion alarm in a house in Limoges. Patrols alerted by the remote surveillance company found the suspects nearby and arrested the first after a foot chase. It took a few more minutes to find his accomplice, hiding in the bushes, who was spotted using a thermal scope.

A screwdriver, 980 euros, two mobile phones and a car key were found on one of them. Thanks to the system of geolocation of their phones and the prints of their shoes found at the scene of another theft, the investigators made the connection with two burglaries committed in Panazol and four in Bourges, in the Cher, during the previous days. At the end of their police custody, the two men aged 42 and 44, who are in an irregular situation, were indicted and tried in immediate appearance last Friday. The Limoges court sentenced them to eight months in prison. They left behind bars after the hearing.
