This Friday February 18 promises to be complicated for regulars of public transport in Paris and Ile-de-France. Following a strike notice, traffic will be severely disrupted with eight metro lines closed, the company announced on Wednesday 16 February. Traffic will be interrupted on lines 2, 3bis, 5, 7bis, 8, 10, 11 and 12.

Regarding the RER (RATP network), 1 train out of 2 will operate at peak times and 1 train out of 3 at off-peak times on RER A. For RER B, there will be 1 train out of 2 at peak times and 1 train 3 at off-peak hours.

The partially open metro lines will be 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 13. In detail:

– metro 3: 1 train out of 4 only between Pont de Levallois and Havre-Caumartin

– metro 4: 1 train out of 2

– metro 6: 1 train out of 3 only between Nation and Bercy

– metro 7: 1 train out of 3

– metro 9: 1 train out of 3

– metro 13: 1 train out of 3

Regarding buses and trams, there will be an average of 1 out of 3 trams with disparities depending on the line and an average of 2 out of 3 buses with variations depending on the sector, possibly going as far as the closure of a few lines.
