Residents of a nursing home located in Haute-Savoie, made their dreams come true by boarding a helicopter for an unforgettable ride.

In Morzine (Haute-Savoie)residents of a nursing home local will soon be flying off in a helicopter. “It’s scary (…) what are we risking?”, one of them wonders.It’s something to do before you go”admits Antoinette Jarraud82 years old. It all started from a dream. The host of their nursing home interviewed residents to find out what they absolutely wanted to do in their lives, even if it was inaccessible.

“I collected, during a support group, everyone’s wishes and obviously the fact of flying (…), to do a first flight was the most shared wish so we made sure to be able to do it”recount Emilia Demolishedfacilitator. A total of eight seniors flew in the helicopter for 20 minutes. “It’s great to be able to do things like that at my age”enthuses Germaine Marchand, 98 years old.
