There were two flashes in the Bavarian night. First, in the first period after a game of pinball in the German penalty area. Then twenty minutes from the end of the game, a header from the inevitable Katoto on a corner. Long dominated, the Parisiennes can congratulate themselves on these two flashes signed Marie-Antoinette Katoto, sufficient to win (1-2), Tuesday March 22, and take an option on qualification before the return match at the Parc des Princes.
Moved to the Allianz Arena, this first match of the final phase of the Champions League started very strong for the Bavarians. Faster in transitions and sharp in attack, the Germans shook the Parisian defense. From a last missed pass to a Parisian foot that repels a shot on target, Bayern pushed, without ever scoring. It was finally against the run of play that the Parisiennes opened the scoring.
On a corner, after Kadidiatou Diani saw her shot repelled by the crossbar, it was finally Marie-Antoinette Katoto who sent the ball under this same crossbar (20th). Dominated but cold with realism, the players of Didier Ollé-Nicole returned to the locker room with this advantage.
Precious victory for our Parisiennes in the quarter-final first leg@UWCL. Les Rouge et Bleu take a good option before the return leg, scheduled for next Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.

In the second half, much the same scenario repeated itself. More sovereign in the midfield, however, the Parisians better controlled the attacks of their opponents, often dangerous on the sides. Once again, it was after a long period of Bavarian domination and on a corner that Marie-Antoinette Katoto doubled the lead with a powerful header (70th).
After knowing how to manage the opposing offensive inclinations, Grace Geyoro’s teammates cracked at the end of the match, conceding a goal from a direct free kick at the entrance to the area (84th).
In the end, PSG obtained a precious success during this trip to the other side of the Rhine and placed themselves in a strong position before the return match, on March 30, on the lawn of the Parc des Princes.
