The president and co-founder of the Mediapart information site Edwy Plenel will leave the management of the media “in mid-March”he announced Monday February 12 in the show “Sensitive matters” on France Inter.

“See you exactly on March 14. On March 16, we will celebrate at the Centquatre in Paris”he announced, specifying that the name of his successor will be known at the same time.

“It’s normal, it’s an orderly handover”he explained. “The miracle of Mediapart is that the team, for the most part, is between 25 and 45 years old, I am 71. It is normal that it lives, independently of us”.

“I will continue to write, I will continue to be present through my pen, but I will not be the legal manager, the boss of the company”
