The Paul Le Rolland high school in Drancy, in Seine-Saint-Denis, is among the best high schools in France, according to the criteria unveiled on Wednesday March 23 by the Ministry ofEducation. What is his recipe?

The results of the Paul Le Rolland high school in Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis) command admiration. In 2021, the bac pass rate there was 97%and almost 80% baccalaureate holders were received with honors. Yet this high school who was formerly dominant professional has long suffered from a very poor image. A few years ago, many parents preferred to send their children to the Lycée Eugène Delacroix, located right next door.

To change the situation, the educational teams decided to combine the two establishments on the same campus. Since the walls and prejudices have fallen, the number of general high school students has almost tripled at Paul Le Rolland. One of the big indicators of change is greater diversity in classrooms. A spectacular progression that the school intends to confirm: Paul Le Rolland aims this year 100% success in baccalaureate.
