The Ministère de l’Éducation and the Association des directions générale scolaire du Québec have reached an agreement concerning the renewal of the working conditions of senior staff in the school network.
The Association of School Directors General of Quebec presented the tentative agreement to its members for approval. The latter voted 90% in favor of its adoption.
Nearly 200 people from 70 school service centers and school boards in Quebec are involved. These people work as general manager, deputy general manager, or senior advisor.
“With this new agreement and the one recently signed with the managers of the network, we have just ensured the working conditions of a large part of the personnel of our school service centers and school boards. This will bring great stability for everyone,” said Minister of Education Jean-François Roberge.
