Quebec skier Édouard Therriault won the bronze medal at the slopestyle World Cup in Font-Romeu, France, on Sunday.
Therriault, just 18, scored 81.71 on his first of two attempts in the final. It was her first career World Cup slopestyle medal.

The athlete from Lorraine, who will celebrate his 19th birthday on February 16, also won the silver medal in the long jump at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Aspen, Colorado, in 2021.
The competition was won by Switzerland’s Andri Ragettli (86.36), ahead of New Zealand’s Ben Barclay (82.71).
Therriault’s compatriots, Teal Harle, Mark Hendrickson and Étienne Geoffroy-Gagnon finished fourth, fifth and 15th respectively.
