(Edmonton) The Edmonton Oilers signed Quebec forward Raphael Lavoie to a one-year contract worth $775,000 US on Monday.
Last season, Lavoie, 23, played his first seven National Hockey League games, going blank on each occasion and posting a minus-2 rating.
The Chambly athlete did well offensively in the American League, however, amassing 50 points, including 28 goals, in 66 games with the Bakersfield Condors. He added an assist in two playoff games.
Lavoie was a second-round pick, 38e overall, Oilers in 2019.
