(Edmonton) The Edmonton Oilers placed five other players on NHL COVID-19 protocols on Saturday.
Forwards Kailer Yamamoto and Brendan Perlini, goalkeeper Ilya Konovalov as well as defensemen Evan Bouchard and Slater Koekkoek have been added to the roster, according to the Oilers statement.
Three other Oilers players, Connor McDavid, Tyson Barrie and Derek Ryan, were already in the protocols.
Six unidentified team members were also added to the roster on Saturday, according to the Oilers.
