During his appearance on the podcast Elodie’s worldJohnny Hallyday’s friend actually confided that he no longer wanted to tour.
This Tuesday, December 26, the interpreter of On the road to Memphis recognized it: “I go on stage less and less, even more so to speak not at all”. If he doesn’t get on stage as much as before, it’s for an obvious reason. “But I’ve been on stage so much, so much in the provinces, so much on tour that at one point, there is fatigue and above all there is the fact after the scene“he explains before specifying: “That means the hotel and that has become unbearable”.

Eddy Mitchell feels ‘too alone’ to continue touring
Through his words, Laura Smet’s godfather expresses his weariness. In fact, he admits that he no longer feels the same desire as before when he goes on the road. However, it is not the stage that poses the most problem for him but the hotels in which he stays.
“At the hotel, I can’t do it anymore. Being on stage is fine. On stage, we’re good because we have musicians, we have a team. All that is great”he initially assures before continuing: “But that’s after. Being far from your family on the one hand and then finding yourself all alone in a room with a gourmet salad”. It remains to be seen whether Eddie Mitchell could reconsider his remarks in the event that he was accompanied during his tours so as not to be “feel alone”.
