At the time of the energy sobriety, the RéparToursNTruck cannot answer it either. Hugues Grenouillat started this entrepreneurial adventure in May 2022. His idea? A traveling truck through the Indre-et-Loire to give new life to any type of object possible, from the hair iron to the vacuum cleaner, via the telephone and the computer.
The principle awakens customers’ environmental awareness passing in front of the big yellow truck. “There’s no point in throwing it away if it can be repaired and made for a few more years”underlines Alexandra, who came to find out about her steam plant which has a water display concern. “Sometimes it’s a little welding, It’s not a big deal”supports her friend Christine.
Less overconsumption, more savings
The advantage is also economic, adds the client: “That plus that, plus that, it is a cost. money [économisé] can be used for something else.” Stéphane for his part does not come to bring household appliances but his son Maxence’s game console, the jack plug no longer works. “I’m always fixing what’s brokenenlightens the father, because: overconsumption. Not over-consuming has always been my perspective.”
The RéparToursNTruck is the right place to meet this ecological fiber. The repair also concerns Hugues Grenouillat’s truck. “A recent truck does not interest me, in the sense that I’m really interested in reuse, decipher the one who pampers his Citroën HY. It’s something that’s in me.” The vehicle dates from 1968.
I wanted a truck with a soul. This one has a life: it was the markets in Gignac and was also used for the sale of shoes.
Bring the repair solution
Hugues Grenouillat hopes that the repair becomes a reflex for everyone. He believes he can get there by going closer to customersthanks to this Citroën HY truck.
