A few hours after QUB’s revelations about this teacher at a Grands-Vents primary school in Saint-Marthe-sur-le-Lac who put her students through an ordeal, the school management met the parents.
Criticized several times during this meeting, the school principal, Éric Campeau, shed a few tears when he was behind the other teachers at the back of the room.
“I asked on behalf of the parents of the 101 group that Mr. Campeau be relieved of his duties immediately. I no longer trust this man,” said a parent.
Several parents expressed their frustration by speaking out during a meeting that lasted more than three hours.
A mother even claimed that she wondered why her child was violent at home and that he wanted to go to heaven.
She mentioned having understood the reason after the broadcast of the report by TVA Nouvelles journalist Yves Poirier.
Forty parents were present.
The school administration mentioned at the start of the meeting that they were not going to answer questions because of ongoing investigations.
