Eclipse: the ultimate poster so you don’t miss anything

The Montreal Journal And The Quebec Journal will publish this Saturday a giant poster to keep allowing their readers to make the most, in complete safety, of the total solar eclipse which will sweep across a large part of Quebec on Monday.

This poster, produced by the team of our popular “In 5 minutes” section, will contain a wealth of practical information to fully enjoy this historic event, which will not happen again in Quebec for 82 years.

While it is increasingly difficult to find glasses allowing you to observe the eclipse safely, the poster will offer readers Newspaper the possibility of creating their own observation tool.

In fact, it will be possible to cut and drill a tool yourself allowing you to indirectly observe the phenomenon in complete safety, while remaining with your back to the sun.

This was developed in collaboration with experts from the Montreal Planetarium.

In addition to this tool, the giant poster will allow readers of the Newspaper to know the precise times of evolution of the different phases of the eclipse in several cities of Quebec, advice concerning the wearing of observation glasses, as well as a list of the main gatherings planned for the occasion.

Scientific explanations of the phenomenon are also found there. It is therefore, in a way, a guide that can accompany you throughout this extraordinary event.
