Martine Guillet is a farmer at the Ferme de l’Alsontaine. It produces a wide variety of 100% organic vegetables for individuals and for collective catering. She grows classic carrots, orange, but also purple, white or yellow carrots. And this produces a diversity of taste that will allow original preparations and recipes. The white and the yellow have a subtle taste of peach and the violet is sweeter.

The carrot makes you lovable

Our dietitian, Julie Hoareau, reminds us that carrots are rich in beta-carotenes, the precursor of vitamin A. It is a powerful antioxidant that has several virtues: slowing down aging, improving the condition of the skin, promoting healing . The elasticity of the skin is thus maintained and wrinkles recede. Thanks to beta-carotene, and therefore vitamin A, carrots are also excellent for eyesight.
