(Montreal) A driver in his twenties is fighting for his life in hospital after his vehicle swerved in Notre-Dame-de-Stanbridge, in the Eastern Townships.
The police received a call about this road exit around 6:15 a.m. Saturday morning on Chemin de la Grande-Ligne Est. The vehicle ended up in a ditch.
“The driver was alone on board. He suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in Montreal. We fear for his life, ”said Sergeant Béatrice Dorsainville, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
“A police officer in collision investigation will analyze the scene,” said the spokesperson for the SQ.
No hypothesis was immediately favored to explain the swerve.
